Complex Desjardins is a prime site for hosting major corporate, sports and cultural events. Nearly 40,000 people visit the complex every day. Three office towers and 100 shops and restaurants surround a large public plaza where some 200 events are held each year. This design produces the effect of an indoor square.
It was designed to develop the eastern end of downtown Montreal, it is located in the quadrilateral formed by Saint Catherine, Saint-Urbain, Jeanne Mance and René Lévesque Boulevard.
